In the third part of the trilogy, the main characters embark on a new cosmic journey to uncover the origins of the Necromorphs and end the alien threat. For the first time, a cooperative mode in which Sergeant John Carver teams up with Isaac Clarke is now available to players. Joint and individual plays are very different from each other. In addition to aiming for constant interaction between two players, co-op has some plot changes and additional side quests not available in single player.
